Playlist Sort

Track Down's Playlist Sort tool reads one of your own Spotify playlists, lets you reorder it by date added, title, artist, duration, or popularity (or shuffle it), and saves the result as a brand-new playlist — your original playlist is never modified.

Frequently asked questions

Will this change my original playlist?

No. Playlist Sort always creates a new playlist with the reordered tracks; the playlist you picked is left untouched.

Where does the "Most popular first" quick sort come from?

It uses Spotify's own 0–100 track popularity score, which is included on every track in the playlist data Track Down already fetches — no extra lookups needed.

Can I remove a track while sorting instead of just reordering?

Yes. The review step lists every track with a checkbox, pre-checked — uncheck any track before saving to leave it out of the new playlist.
