Playlist Split

Track Down's Playlist Split tool breaks one of your own Spotify playlists into several smaller new playlists, choosing how many tracks land in each — every track from the original ends up in exactly one part, and the original playlist is never modified.

Connect your Spotify account to choose a playlist to split.

Same connection also unlocks your listening stats.

Frequently asked questions

Will this change my original playlist?

No. Playlist Split always creates new playlists from the parts; the playlist you picked is left completely untouched.

How many tracks should I put in each part?

It depends on what you're splitting for — a common choice is 100 (matching a length that fits on one screen without much scrolling), but you can pick any size. A 550-track playlist split at 100 tracks per part creates 6 playlists (5 full ones and a final 50-track part).

Can I choose which tracks go in which part?

Not currently — tracks are split in their existing playlist order, from the top. If you need specific tracks grouped together, reorder the source playlist with Playlist Sort first, or use Playlist Export to review the full order before splitting.
