Playlist Duplicator

Track Down's Playlist Duplicator makes a true 1:1 copy of a Spotify playlist you own. Since the tracks are already exact Spotify entries, it copies them directly by URI — no re-matching or confidence scoring — and saves the copy as a new playlist you can freely edit.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the Spotify Import source?

Spotify Import re-searches and re-matches every track through Track Down's matching engine, which is meant for cross-platform conversion. Playlist Duplicator skips all of that — it copies the exact same Spotify track URIs directly, since the data is already 100% correct.

Will this change my original playlist?

No. The Duplicator only reads your original playlist and writes a brand-new one; nothing about the source playlist is modified.

Can I leave a few tracks out of the copy?

Yes. The review step lists every track with a checkbox, pre-checked — uncheck any track before saving to exclude it from the copy.

Copying across platforms instead of within Spotify? Use Spotify Import to re-match tracks into a fresh playlist instead of a 1:1 copy.
