Frequently asked questions
What format does my pasted list need to be in?
One song per line, formatted as "Artist — Track" (a dash or em-dash between the two). Track Down also supports "Artist — Album" mode for pasting whole albums.
Is there a limit to how many songs I can paste?
No hard limit — paste as many lines as you have. Larger lists just take a little longer to match, since each line is checked against Spotify individually.
What happens to songs that don't match well?
Every line gets a confidence score. Strong matches are auto-selected; anything below the confidence threshold is flagged under "Needs Review" so you can check it before saving.
